MFYC wants to welcome Nathan Gritter to the team!
Nathan joins MFYC this year as our Conducting Intern, and we are delighted that he will become a part of our Artistic Team so that he can share his great musicianship skills, his love of music, and his friendly, open heart with MFYC choir members. Nathan sang with MFYC from 2011 – 2014; he brings to the position of Conducting Intern a knowledge of MFYC “from the inside” that will be of great benefit to the Artistic Team. By taking on the position of Conducting Intern, Nathan also helps to fulfill one of MFYC’s long-standing and ongoing objectives–that of leadership development among its members.
We have a very busy season planned for MFYC’s 20th anniversary year, and we certainly appreciate that Nathan wants to continue sharing his many gifts with MFYC in the capacity of Conducting Intern. We look forward to his contributions this season.

“I am an aspiring music educator and am looking toward studying at University of Toronto Faculty o
f Music in 2017. I have finished one year of a Bachelor of Arts Degree at the UofT Mississauga campus and graduated Meadowvale Secondary school as an Ontario Scholar. I was a chorister with MFYC for four years and am now apart of the Mississauga Festival Choir as well as Resonance – a choir for young adults. I am looking forward to work with MFYC this year and to gain new experiences in music and community.
